Bag Policy
- BAGS, PURSES & CLUTCHES LARGER THAN 4″ x 6″ x 1.5″ ARE PROHIBITED.
- SINGLE COMPARTMENT BAGS, WALLETS & CLUTCHES SMALLER THAN 4″ x 6″ x 1.5″ WITH OR WITHOUT A HANDLE STRAP ARE PERMITTED.
- Exceptions to this policy include:
- Bags, wallets and clutches needed due to medical necessity. Medical necessity includes Diaper bags, Breast pumps, Oxygen, Insulin, Epi-pens and other medical devices.
- Medical or diaper bags must measure smaller than 14” x 14″ x 6″ and are required to be x-rayed upon entry.
Items not allowed in the Arena
- Air horns, fog horns, bullhorns, cowbells, bells, horns, kazoos, whistles, vuvuzelas, didgeridoos, and other noisemakers
- Aerosol cans, and items that contain contents under pressure, including hairspray, mace, and pepper spray.
- Alcoholic beverages of any kind
- Animals (except approved service animals)
- Banners, signs, flags larger than 11” x 17”
- Banners, signs, and flags may not obstruct the sight lines of other guests, cover up existing signage, exhibit messages that are obscene, offensive, or create a disturbance or interfere with the enjoyment of other guests.
- Banners, signs, and flags may not be paraded around the venue or affixed to any permanent structure, pole or stick.
- Bags larger than 4” x 6” x 1.5” including bags associated with laptops, tablets, iPads, cameras and binoculars.
- Baseball bats, hockey sticks, golf clubs, poles, brooms, selfie-sticks, frisbees, fishing nets, fishing poles, missile-like objects that can be thrown, balloons, beach balls or other inflatable items.
- Beverages (except for religious, dietary or for medical necessity)
- Bottles, glass, aluminum, or metal containers
- Cameras with detachable lenses longer than eight (8) inches
- Clothing or garments that exhibit messages that are obscene, offensive, or create a disturbance or interfere with the enjoyment of other guests
- Coolers, hard sided or soft sided coolers (except for religious, dietary or for medical necessity)
- Drones and/or Unmanned Aircraft flown inside or outside of the venue, including the surrounding parking areas.
- Fireworks or any types of explosives
- Laser pointers and/or any device that could create an optical illusion or interfere with the ability of the eye to perceive depth or distance, such as pin wheels.
- Marijuana and/or illegal narcotics including accessories or paraphernalia associated with marijuana and/or illegal narcotics use.
- Outside food and beverage of any kind (except for religious, dietary or for medical necessity)
- Poster tubes that are plastic/and or metal
- Skateboards, scooters, rollerblades, roller skates, hover boards, bicycles, and/or any wheeled vehicle (wheeled vehicles for ADA are permitted)
- Video and/or sound recording devices including tri-pods, mono-pods, GoPro, Google Glass, and eyeglass video recording devices
- Weapons of any kind including firearms, ammunition, pepper spray, mace, brass knuckles, toy or fake weapons, squirt guns or super soakers and knives of all types and sizes
- Any other item deemed dangerous or inappropriate or otherwise violating the
Permitted Items
- Baby bottles (glass, aluminum, or metal containers are prohibitted)
- Bags, wallets, clutches, fannie packs and clear bags smaller than 4” x 6” x 1.5”
- Bags required for dietary or medical necessity.
- Battery operated personal fans, coats, gloves, and vests.
- Binoculars
- Blankets
- Cameras with detachable lenses shorter than eight (8) inches
- Cardboard poster tubes
- Diaper bags (must be smaller than 16” x 16” x 8”)
- Food that is a single serving for religious, dietary, or medical necessity
- Headphones
- Knitting needles
- Laptops, Tablets and iPads without a case or sleeve.
- Medical bags required for dietary or medical necessity which includes Oxygen, Insulin, Epi-pens and other medical devices. Medical bags must measure smaller than 16” x 16″ x 8″
- Seat cushions with soft surface, no metal surfaces
- Signs and banners less than 11” x 17” in length that are not affixed to any pole or stick made of wood, metal, plastic, or any other hard material.
- Strollers
- Radios (small portable radios)
- Wheeled vehicles for ADA necessity
- Umbrellas with non-pointed tips that do not obstruct the view of guests.
- Umbrellas may not be activated during events.
- Umbrellas that obstruct the view of guests, may be confiscated.
Entry Policy
All guests will be subject to screening upon entry, which includes:
- A walk-through metal detector
- Handheld wand (if applicable)
- Bag search (medical and diaper bags only. See bag policy below).
- This policy is subject to change.
The venue has a no re-entry policy. Guests who exit the venue will not be permitted to re-enter.
Conduct Requirements
The John Bingham Memorial Rodeo at Huntington Place is committed to creating a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable experience for all guests. To meet this commitment all visitors must adhere to our standards and policies listed below.
- Treat everyone with respect and dignity.
- Guests should refrain from any behavior that disrupts others from enjoying the event.
- Do not engage in any unruly behavior, including obscene gestures, derogatory, vulgar, biased, or abusive language directed at guests, venue personnel, cowboys & girls, or any other performers. This includes the use of such language, actions or gestures concerning a person’s race, ethnicity, color, gender, religion, creed, disability, age, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression or national origin; or to instigate, incite or encourage violence, a confrontation or threat of physical harm.
- Do not fight, throw objects, or attempt to enter or interfere with the performance area
- Consume alcoholic beverages responsibly and avoid intoxication, diminished capacity or impairment by alcohol or drugs. Guests must be at least 21 years of age to consume alcoholic beverages.
- Do not exit with the expectation to re-enter the venue after scanning of tickets
- Refrain from smoking inside, Huntington Place is a non-smoking venue.
Guests must comply with reasonable requests from security and venue personnel. Those who refuse may be subject to ejection without refund, and possible arrest and/or prosecution.
